About Brandon
I completed my Masters of Arts in Media Management this past August at Ohio University's School of Media Arts and Studies. Life has been both absolutely crazy and amazing during the past two years. When I entered graduate school, I had the opportunity to join the staff at the School of Visual Communication as a Visiting Professional in their Multimedia squence and will continue to stay on board to teach this year. I also just recently joined the staff at the Ohio University Press as their web developer. As I recover from life neglected outside of my studies in the past two years, I will be building a new version of my website. In the mean time, the following are my most recent projects.

2010 Soul of Athens
Each spring, a collective of VisCom students revisit the idea of "What is the Soul of Athens?" and how to communicate the stories of Athens. As the Senior Producer of the website, I had the opportunity to work alongside some very talented and dedicated students as they tackled the design and development challenges for the 2010 version.

Summer in Germany
I spent the summer working alongside two gifted colleagues, Frederick Lewis and Sam Girton, teaching documentary storytelling as part of a study abroad program in Leipzig, Germany. Recently the students and their documentaries were featured in a celebration of our college's relationship with the Scripps Howard Foundation.

Center of Excellence
The Scripps College of Communication was honored as a Center of Excellence by the Ohio Board of Regents on October 5, 2010. What makes this announcement remarkable is that the Scripps College is the only institution highlighted as the Center of Excellence in Culture and Societal Transformation.

Mountain Workshops
This fall I have been invited to attend the 35th annual Mountain Workshops facilitated by several of the fine faculty of Western Kentucky University. I will be joining the staff and talented visual professionals on October 18, 2010 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky while helping build the website which showcases the week's work.
